Welcome to Bear & Fox Construction Ltd. My name is Dominic , and I am the proud founder of this company, dedicated to delivering top-tier building services to homeowners and local businesses.
My passion for the building industry began in the 1980s when I started helping my Dad with various projects. That early exposure ignited a lifelong interest, and in time, I was fortunate enough to turn that passion into a fulfilling career. I secured a 5-year apprenticeship with Llewellyn & Sons, which laid the foundation for my journey in the construction world.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working on some incredible projects, including the famous Grand Designs, and collaborating with talented craftsmen who have helped shape my skills and broaden my experience.
I’m a proud holder of a City & Guilds qualification in Carpentry and Joinery, which paved the way for my career as a carpentry contractor. I began working on carpentry projects for main contractors, building new houses, and refining my craft. As I reached my mid-20s, many people began asking me to help with loft conversions and home extensions. This marked the beginning of the next chapter in my career, one focused on creating bespoke solutions for homeowners.
After years of hands-on experience and accumulating a wealth of knowledge, I founded Bear & Fox Construction Ltd. I wanted to create a high-quality service without the high street price tag, offering my clients the expertise and attention to detail they deserve. Whether it’s a small renovation or a large-scale build, I believe communication is key throughout every stage of the project. It’s important to me that my clients feel informed and confident in the work being done.
When I’m not on site, I enjoy staying healthy with regular runs and relaxing whilst fishing at the side of a beautiful lake but, most importantly, spending quality time with my family.
